The gas system combined with a 7-lug rotary bolt give the shooting significant recoil reduction for comfort, while at the same time locking in bolt action-like accuracy. It utilizes a crossbolt safety, detachable box magazine with a hinged floorplate and sling swivel studs on the stock and forearm. The MK 3 is the hunting rifle that sets the bar for every other autoloader on the planet with accuracy and speed. It features a hammer-forged blued steel barrel and aluminum alloy receiver.
